Eye filler treatment

Tired eye treatment can make your whole appearance look refreshed and more youthful. Dark circles under the eyes are often one of the first indications that our skin is ageing. It makes us look tired. We associate these dark circles with ageing when we see it in others too.

Dermal fillers can remove the circles, plump up the dark, thinning skin, that you see when you look in the mirror, and give you a more even skin tone on your face. The result is a smooth, hydrated, anti-aging effect and it’s all thanks to the hyaluronic acid that is injected. It’s soaks up the water under the skin, and cushions the tear troughs. You should look younger than your years following eye filler treatment.

Dermal fillers can be injected into the eye troughs painlessly during a procedure that takes just 30 to 40 minutes to complete. The results will be immediately apparent.

We advise you to prepare for 48 hours of downtime, but in reality we don’t expect you to need that long. This downtime is simply to give any minor side-effects a chance to subside.

You can enjoy less tired looking eyes for 6 to 12 months after treatment.

Special eye fillers will be injected into the dark circles of the skin under your eyes, once anaesthetic cream has numbed the area. It shouldn’t hurt and you should be able to view your new look straight away.

There may be some minor visible side-effects at the injection site, under the eyes, such as bruising, swelling, or redness. More serious side-effects are extremely rare.

You’ll be advised against strenuous exercise, or subjecting the treated area to heat. We’ll advise you of how to look after your new eye fillers until they’re settled, and you can resume normal activities.

The eye troughs

The delicate skin under the eyes is often an early casualty of the natural reduction in collagen levels we all experience as we age. Dermal fillers can restore the lost volume and improve skin tone in the eye troughs.

FAQS ABOUT TIRED EYE REJUVENATION

  • A period of reduced exercise immediately following treatment will help your eye fillers to settle, but after two weeks, you can expect your new refreshed eye look to remain with no effort on your part.

  • We would advise you not to have any other beauty treatments on the eyes beforehand. Waxing, tweezing, or bleaching hair in this area immediately beforehand, may cause you problems. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about preparing for eye filler treatment when you come and have your face-to-face consultation with us.

  • Tired eye rejuvenation treatment combats the appearance of reduced collagen in the eye troughs. If your eye trough problems are caused by a lack of sleep, excess salt, or alcoholism, then the treatment we offer may not be successful. We’ll perform a thorough assessment during your consultation.

  • Eye filler injections involve small amounts of hyaluronic acid being injected under the skin to provide more skin volume. Through cushioning sunken skin areas, tired eye rejuvenation treatment will make the area around your eyes look more youthful.

  • We appreciate that the skin under the eyes is sensitive. The area will be anaesthetised with a numbing cream prior to your injection, to ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.

  • Tired eye treatment carries very limited risk of serious side-effects, although minor side-effects, such as bruising, redness, and swelling, where the injection enters the skin, are common. These minor side-effects are temporary and should subside very quickly.
